Obituary for Mary Magaline Munsey

MUNSEY, MARY HAYNES, of Maynardville was born May 20, 1935 and passed away March 10, 2014. Mary was a member of Pennington Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: husband, Austin (Doc) Munsey; infant sons, Ronnie and Donnie Munsey; son, Billy (Hawkeye) Munsey; parents, Reverend Hobart and Hettie Haynes; sister, Lenore Smith; brothers, Dot, L.C. and Paris Haynes; grandson Josh Munsey. Survivors: daughter, Ruby (Gerald) Hobock; sons, Frank (Janice, Johnny (Becky), Stevie (Bobbie), Jess (Tammy), Elmer (Deb); brother, Gabe (Alfreda) Haynes; sisters, Alberta Bailey, Sarah Henry, Anna Muncey, Ruth Rustin, Pauline (Ab) Brock; ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with funeral to follow at 8:00 p.m. in Cooke-Campbell Chapel. Reverend Fred Goodson and Reverend Gabe Haynes officiating. Interment 1:00 p.m. Friday at Big Barren Cemetery. Music by: Jerry Epperson and family, and Family Gospel Singers. Pallbearers: Jeffery Munsey, Joe Munsey, Tony Munsey, Adam Munsey, Donnie Munsey, Willis Munsey. Honorary pallbearers: Jason Munsey, Austin Munsey, Justin Cox, Matt Brogan, Johnathon Brogan.
