Obituary for Charles W. Nease

Mr. Charles W. Nease-age 72 of Maynardville went to be with the Lord 9:15 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Charles was a Christian and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and the former Agency Manager of the Union County Farm Bureau, where he continued to serve on the Board of Directors. Preceded in death by father: Frank Nease; mother: Fern Nease; sister: Francis Hammer. Survived by loving and devoted wife: Velma; sons: Keith (Dionne); Kelvin (Joy) and Kendall (Holly) Nease; grandchildren: Ravyn, Autumn, Brady, Brooke, Barron, Makenna and Cole; great-grandson: Gavin; sisters: Pat Sparks and Dorothy Bibee; brothers: Marcus Nease and Jeff Nease; step-mother: Eva Nease. A host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday with funeral services immediately following at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jeff Leach officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:15 a.m. Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville for a 10 a.m. Military Graveside Service conducted by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Keith Nease, Kelvin Nease, Kendall Nease, Brady Nease, Barron Nease, Cole Nease and Rick Walker. Honorary Pallbearers: Gail Booker, Curtis Whitson, Olen Booker, Edward Archer and many more friends too numerous to name. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church of your choice.
