Jerry Allen Carpenter-age 51 of Sharps Chapel passed away 9:45 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at his home. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Sharps Chapel. Preceded in death by wife, Shirley Bunch Carpenter; father Wiley Carpenter.

Survivors: daughter, Tonya Carpenter; sons, Chris Carpenter and Logan Carpenter. Five Grandchildren. Mother and step-father, Judy Mabe Shoffner and Bobby Shoffner; sister, Lisa Russell; brothers, Joe Shoffner, Josh Shoffner. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Willard Wilder officiating with music by the Truly Blessed Quartet. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Shoffner Cemetery, Sharps Chapel for interment services at 11 a.m. with Pallbearers: Richard Wilder, Mark Wilder, Joe Shoffner, John Shoffner, Mike Mabe, and Josh Shoffner. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
