Pamela Kay Sweet-age 58 of Sharps Chapel went home to be with the Lord 11 P.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Tennova Hospice. She was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by son, Jasper Sweet; parents, Richard and Delta (Johnson) Hatmaker; brother, Phil Hatmaker; sister, Hilda Sexton. Survivors: husband, Jerry Sweet; brother, Rev. Greg Sharp and wife, Vickie, all of Sharps Chapel. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 12-3 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2016 with funeral service to follow at 3 P.M. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Joe McCoy officiating with music by Leatherwood Singers. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Curtis Dyke, Jeff Sharp, Doug Osborne, Coy Bailey, Warren Dyke, Dave Tolliver; Honorary Pallbearers: Megan Edmondson, Emily Edmondson, Cole Nicley, Ozzy Nicley.
