Vella Mae Shoffner Daniels-age 93 of Sharps Chapel passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at Claiborne Medical Center. She was a member of Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by husbands, Cillis Shoffner and Issac Daniels; son, Roy Lee Shoffner; parents, Mose and Minnie Tapp; brother, Fred Tapp.


Survivors: daughter, Judy Shoffner; son, G. Paul Shoffner and wife, Dorothy; grandsons, Paul D. Shoffner and wife, Rhonda; Mike Shoffner and wife, Susan; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Special friend, Betty Shoffner; special cousins, Edna West and Harley Tapp.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp officiating with music by The Sherritze Family. Family and friends will meet at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Stiner Cemetery, Sharps Chapel for a 10 a.m. interment service. Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
