Jeanie Lou Berry  Bowling
Jeanie Berry Bowling-age 57 of Maynardville gained her precious angel wings Sunday, March 11, 2018. She attended Powell United Methodist Church. Jeanie was a retired school teacher with Union County Schools and held a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Lincoln Memorial University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Tusculum College. Jeanie was a loving wife, mother, nannie and Gigi. She dearly loved her kindergarten students and she taught for 27 years at Big Ridge Elementary School. We want to give special thanks to Dr. Gharavi, nurse practitioner Jennifer Pickwell, nurse Wanda Harmon and all the wonderful staff at Tennessee Cancer Specialists.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ruth Berry. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Terry Bowling; children, Douglas Bowling and wife, Kristen; Jennifer Letner and husband, Brad; Steffanie Lawson and husband, D. J.; grandchildren, Rayna Bowling, Ethan and Jacob Lawson, Bailey and Allie Letner; special niece and nephew, Amanda and Stacy Rutherford. Sister, Janice Rutherford and husband, Howard; brothers, Erwin Berry and wife, Kim; Ernie Berry and wife, Cindy; Edwin Berry and wife, Sandy; Edward Berry and wife, Jeannie. Jeanie was blessed to have many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Thursday, March 15, 2018 with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Steve Williams, Rev, Jason Berry officiating. Interment 10 A.M. Friday, March 16, 2018, Berry/Woods Cemetery, Loop Road, Sharps Chapel. Family and friends should meet at the cemetery at 9:45 A.M. Friday. We want to thank everyone for the calls, texts, cards and visitations during this difficult time. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
