Obituary for Robert (Bob) Michael Guidas

Robert (Bob) Guidas-age 88 of Maynardville passed away suddenly Friday, July 6, 2018 at his home. He was a retired employee of the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Technical Department and the National Cash Register Corporation. Bob was a proud Veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a avid Ham Radio Operator and was known by his handle, KB4ABF. Bob will also be remembered for his great story telling abilities. Preceded in death by wife, Opal Kirby Guidas.

Survivors: son, Gary Guidas and wife, Starr of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; grandson, Matthew Guidas; great-granddaughter, Lucy Mae Guidas along with a host of other friends and relatives.

The family will receive friends 6-7 P.M. Tuesday, July 10, 2018 with a memorial service to follow 7 P.M. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Charles Kirby officiating. Military rites will follow the service at the funeral home and be presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
