Esther Keck Wyrick-age 101 of Maynardville, born September 28, 1914 in Union County peacefully passed away Friday morning, August 19, 2016 Tennova Hospice. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Hubbs Grove Homemakers Club. Esther was the daughter of the late Hiram and Alice Keck; also preceded in death by husband, Lath Wyrick; sisters, Nannie McNerling, Anna Lou Keck; daughter-in-law, Joyce Wyrick.
Survivors: sons, Howard Wyrick of Powell; Robert Wyrick and wife, Sally of Clinton; two grandsons, Tom Wyrick of Collierville; Jeff Wyrick of Chattanooga; one great-grandson, Caleb Wyrick; sister, Edith Gose of Bristol, TN; nephew, Jim; nieces, Doris and Mary.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2016 with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Minister Phil Groos (Hospice Chaplain) officiating with music by the Sherritze Family. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m. Thursday, to travel in procession to Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville for interment at 11 a.m. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
