Obituary for Victor "Vick" Bailey

Victor “Vick” Bailey-age 90 of Washburn went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, May 26, 2017 at his home. He was a retired employee of Grainger County Highway Department. Preceded in death by parents, Ed and Flossey Bailey; step-mother, Daisey Bailey; sister, Cleo Smith; brothers, James Bailey, Carson Bailey and Doyle Wayne Bailey

Survivors: wife of 68 years, Fousteen (Helton) Bailey; sons, Charles (Judy) Bailey, John (Sheila) Bailey, Rick Bailey, all of Washburn; grandchildren, Melissa (Eric) Logsdon, Steve (Misty) Bailey, Brisha (Randel) Collins, Brad Bailey, Laken Bailey; great-grandchildren, Preston Logston, Lance MacKenzie and Addisyn Bailey, Lily Bailey, Easton Bailey. Brothers, Danny Bailey, Buster Bailey; sisters, Mary Lee Coffman, June Graves, Shirley Slagle, Sally Jordan, Linda Bailey, Brenda Helton, Carolyn Helton, Martha Jo Jones, Ollie Delle Beeler. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Sunday, May 28, 2017 with funeral services to follow at 8 P.M. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Epperson, Rev. Darrell Williams, Rev. Tony Williams officiating with music by The Williams Family. Interment 11 A.M. Monday, May 29, 2017, Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn with singing by Rev. Jerry and Carolyn Epperson. Family and friends will meet by 10 A.M. Monday at the funeral home to go in the procession. Pallbearers: Steve Bailey, Brad Bailey, Lance Bailey, Preston Logsdon, Jerry Helton, Ernest Nicley.
