Obituary for Harley John Monroe

Harley John Monroe-age 87 of Sharps Chapel passed away peacefully Friday morning, December 22, 2017 at his home. Preceded in death by parents, Sterling Elmer Monroe and Lula Reinohl Monroe; wife of 44 years, Betty Holloway Monroe; brother, Bernard E. Monroe; son-in-law, David Kyle Clabough.

Survived by children, Gary (Mary) Monroe, Pam (Paul) Keck, all of Sharps Chapel; grandchildren, Christi (Jeff) Raby, Savannah (Colton) Rutherford, Sierra Clabough; great-grandson, Carson Raby.

By Harley’s request, the family will have a brief graveside service and burial at the Monroe Family Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
