John J. Ridenour, Sr.-age 73 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Preceded in death by wife, Charlotte Alana Ridenour; son, Randy; parents, Elzie and Tishie Ridenour.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, John and Kristie Ridenour; daughters, Vickie and Sheila Ridenour, Nancy Riggs, Jimmy Sluder, Alana Dozier and husband, Robby, LeAnne (Nikki) and Darrell Carr, Jessica Ridenour, Miranda Ridenour. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, special grandson, Gregory Thaxton, Jr. Twin-brother, Charlie Ridenour and wife, Teresa; brother, Ronnie Ridenour.

The family will receive friends 1-3 P.M. Sunday, May 20, 2018 with funeral services to follow at 3 P.M. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. David Cloud officiating. Interment Luttrell Cemetery, Luttrell. Pallbearers: Bumper, Randy Hubbs, Anthony Ridenour, Austin Ridenour, Nathaniel Carr, Corban Lipscomb, Jordan Cummings, Honorary Pallbearers: Gregory Thaxton.
