Obituary for Jesse "J. D." Coffman

Jessie D. “J.D.” Coffman-age 89 of Washburn passed away peacefully Thursday morning, December 13, 2018 at his home. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. J. D. was a member of Central View American Christian Church, Washburn.

Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Bobbie (Fern) Coffman of Washburn; daughters, Doris Walker and husband, Don of Bean Station; Dolores Walker of Washburn; sister, Faye Blankenship of Washburn; grandchildren, Misty Snyder, Brian Walker, Brandon Walker, Courtney Bailey and Caitlin Walker; great-grandchildren, Hailey Walker, Jackson Walker, Preston Snyder, Easton Walker and Ember Bailey. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 with funeral services to follow 7 p.m. Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Epperson, Rev. Greg Hurst officiating with music by Rev. Jerry and Carolyn Epperson, Mark Epperson. Interment 11 a.m. Saturday, Clapp Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Pallbearers: Don Walker, Brian Walker, Brandon Walker, Logan Bailey, Pete Snyder, Pete Hyde. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
