Gladys Russell Lambdin-age 87 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at West Hills Healthcare. Preceded in death by husband, Troy Lambdin. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and taught Sunday School. Retired employee of Marlock. She struggled many years with Alzheimers. She was a housewife and made many beautiful outfits that were her daughters favorite to wear to school. She was also a member of the Ex-Prisoners of War. The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses of Atria and West Hills Rehabilitation.

Survivors: Daughter, Diane Steward and husband, Rick; sisters, Doris Cole, Margie Hunley and Meda Jean Perry.

The family will receive friends 1-2 P.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019 with funeral service to follow at 2 P.M. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Mike Parsley officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Church Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
