Alma Jean Johnson Kivett-age 93 of Sharps Chapel passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at her home. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Sharps Chapel Christian Church. Preceded in death by husband, Richard Kivett; parents, Henry and Mayme Peters Johnson; brother, Clint (Bessie) Johnson; son-in-law, Jack Scott, II.

Survivors: brother, Paul (Elizabeth) Johnson; daughters, Shirley (Verdus) Dyke, Teresa Scott; grandchildren, Michele (Tim) Reeves, Kevin (Heather) Dyke, Adrianne (Josh) Stephens, Jack (Lauren) Scott, III; great-grandchildren, Kyla Duffield, Alicia Reeves, Natalie Reeves, Kole Welch, Kaylynn Dyke, Jack Scott, IV and Rebekah Dyke. Several nieces, nephews, cousins along with a host of friends. The family would like to express many thanks for the excellent care given by the employees of Amedisys Home Healthcare and Suncrest Hospice.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, David Wheeler officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2022, Stiner Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Family and friends. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
