Obituary for Anna Lou Reagan McCarty

Anna Lou “Nanny” McCarty-age 78 of Maynardville passed away Thursday morning, September 10, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church in Sharps Chapel. Preceded in death by parents, Darris Dewey and Birdie Reagan; husband, James Hershell McCarty; sons, J. D., Marvin and Daniel McCarty; twin-sons, Larry and Loren McCarty; granddaughter, Brandy McCarty; sister, Ruth Reagan; brothers, Johnny, Joe, Donald, Lee and Ronnie Reagan.

Survivors: daughter, Teresa Brooks and husband, Gary of New Tazewell; seven grandchildren, Johnny Masingo, Dustin Brooks, Tesla Brooks, Ivan McCarty, Jesse McCarty, Randy McCarty, Candy McCarty; 13 Great-grandchildren; one Great-Great-Grandchild. Brother, James Reagan. Several other family members along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Saturday, September 12, 2020 with the funeral service to follow at 7 P.M. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Sharp officiating with music by Forgiven. Interment 10 A.M. Sunday, Cox Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Please meet at the cemetery by 9:45 A.M. Pallbearers: Johnny Masingo, Dustin Brooks, Ivan McCarty, Jesse McCarty, Randy McCarty, Ethan Woods. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
