Obituary for Avit Junior Turner
Avit Junior Turner-age 78 of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a former coal miner. Preceded in death by sons, Damon Turner and Tommy Turner.
Survivors: son, Tim Turner of Morristown; daughters, Patricia Collins of Thorn Hill; Kathrine and Tony Carroll of Tazewell; Louetta Turner of Tazewell. Fourteen grandchildren, Twelve Great-Grandchildren. Brother, Delbert and Sheryl Turner of Tazewell. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
A quiet celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
