Barry Lee Elkins-age 56 of Washburn, Tennessee passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Barry is survived by his mother, Jane Elkins, father, Wayne Elkins, step mother, Doris Elkins, brother, Mike Elkins and nephew Jamie Elkins. He also is survived by several Aunts, an Uncle and several cousins.

He loved his family and was especially proud of his nephew, Jamie. He had a very special place in his heart for him.

Most of his life was spent in Huntsville, Alabama. He graduated from Grissom High School in 1982. He loved music, movies, and learning about history. He especially loved his little dog Holley.

The family is especially grateful for the care he was given by the nurses and doctors at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, Morristown, Tennessee.

There will be graveside services and burial at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Washburn, Tennessee, 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021, Rev. Chris Hayes officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Elkins, Jamie Elkins, Bryan Lay, Chad Lay, James Gregory Watson and James Gregory Watson, II.
