Betty Lou “Ludy” Chesney-age 88 of Luttrell passed away peacefully Friday morning, February 19, 2021 at her home. She was a lifelong member of Black Fox Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Horace and Bertha Chesney; siblings, Roy, Frank, Dick and Mary Chesney, Gladys and Rob Farmer, Kate and Rub Larmer and brother-in-law, Gene Dyer.

Surviving siblings, special sister, Daisy Dyer; brother, Bill and Dolly Chesney. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Funeral services 3 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Gary Beeler officiating with music by The Williams Family. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Billy Tharp, Chris Tharp, Ronnie Irick, Donnie Irick, Darrell Irick, Glen Irick. Honorary Pallbearers: Bill Chesney, Jeff Chesney, Ryan Chesney, A. J. Lohrber, Verlin Larmer, Brisco Harless, Danny Farmer. The body may also be viewed after 9 a.m. Sunday at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
