Obituary for Billie Faye Collins Wolfenbarger

Billie Faye Wolfenbarger-age 81 of Washburn, born July 4, 1939 passed away Wednesday evening, June 2, 2021 at her home. Billie was a member of Central View American Christian Church and a retired employee of Levi Strauss and Company, Powell with 29 years of service. She was the last surviving member of the family of the late Frank and Sarah (Beets) Collins. She is also preceded in death by husband, Paul E. Wolfenbarger; infant sister, Lena Collins; sisters, Ommo Whitner, Francis Stephens and Edith Beeler; brothers, R. B. Collins, J. C. Collins, Frank Collins and Jimmy Collins.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Tim Dyer; her pride and joy, grandson, Trent Dyer. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends. Special thanks to her caregivers, Rachel Ingle and Darlene Suffridge. Also, to Smokey Mountain Hospice and special friend, Ruth Wallace, her walking companion.

Due to Covid concerns, the body may be viewed and the register signed 12 Noon till 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will arrive at 5 p.m. Friday. Funeral service 7 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Jerry Epperson officiating with music by The Epperson Family.

Interment 12 Noon Saturday, June 5, 2021, Frank Collins Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11 a.m. Saturday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Tim Dyer, Trent Dyer, Ed Bailey, Randy Collins, Brian Collins, Eddie Collins. Honorary Pallbearer: Donnie Johnson. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
