Billy Wayne (Bill) Nicley-age 70 of Washburn passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was born December 8, 1952 and was the son of Robert Lee and Helen Mae (Kitts) Nicley. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by brothers, Clifford Nicley, Hubert Nicley; sisters, Betty Lou Nicley, Rose Onalee Nicley, Irene “Callie” Nicley Dalton, Gracie Nicley Bailey.

Bill is survived by special nephew, Donavan “Don Don” Arnold; his long-time girlfriend, Bessie Stratton; sisters, Juanita (Jesse) Coffman, Lilly (Nicley) Perry, Clara (Nicley) Whitt; brother, Earl (Dorena) Nicley. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Donnie Coffman, Rev. David Nicley officiating with music by Rev. Richard and Linda Nicley. Interment to follow at Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers: Donavan Arnold, Ricky Kitts, Ryan Carpenter, Dustin Carpenter, Chris Nicley, James Coffey. Honorary Pallbearers: Marty Phipps and Scottie Stratton.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
