Obituary for Bobbie Joyce Rouse Keck
Bobbie Joyce Keck-age 80 of Maynardville, born May 3, 1940 went home to the Lord Friday, August 21, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, W. T. Keck; her children, Paris Keck of Maynardville; Danny Keck of New Tazewell; Lisa Sweet of New Tazewell; Tina Smith of Tazewell; parents, Willis (Bill) Rouse of Maynardville and Pheonie Keck Rouse of New Tazewell; sisters, Patricia Johnson King of Tazewell; Freda Roe of Kokomo, Indiana; Nancy Godsey of Maryville; Infant great-grandson, Kevin Helton.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Christy (Daniel) Cole of New Tazewell; johnny Dale (Crystal) Sweet of New Tazewell; Stacy Boles of Maynardville; Rhonda Helton of Tazewell; Ashley Keck of Speedwell; Alex Keck of Knoxville. Sisters, Hattie Carter of Powell; Fran Cox and Judy Lester, both of New Tazewell; Kathy Webb of Madisonville. Special friend, Darrell Walker, who she loved as a son. Twelve great-grandchildren, Skylar and AvaLyn Cook, Jakob, Thomas, Saddie and Gage Stooksbury, Marley Sweet, Lisa, Devin, Jessie, Mason and Cole Helton. Her faithful pet, Max. A host of other family and friends who loved her.
Graveside service and interment of her cremains will be 7 P.M. Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Taylor's Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel, with Rev. Matthew Cooke officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery by 6:45 P.M. Sunday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
