Bobby Ray “Butch” Buckner-age 59 of Knoxville, formerly of Maynardville passed away suddenly Thursday morning, January 26, 2023 at his home. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and was a former employee of Hodge Manufacturing. Preceded in death by wife, Judy Buckner; parents, Billy “Tode” and Betty Jo (Bailey) Buckner; son, Douglas Buckner; brother, Ricky Buckner.

Survivors: daughter, Susie Yadon and husband, Matthew; son, Dustin Buckner; three grandchildren, Dillion Buckner and wife, Serena; MaKenzie Yadon, Zachary Yadon; two great-grandchildren, Lincoln Buckner and Aria Buckner; brother, Ronnie Buckner. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Daniel Kitts officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Buckner Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Please meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Brian Anderson, Anthony Anderson, Brian Roark, Joe Patton, Kyle Nicely, Lance Noland. Honorary Pallbearers: Matthew Yadon and Lee Yadon.
