Obituary for Dail Caughorn
Dail Caughorn-age 70 of Maynardville passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Dail was the last surviving child of a family of 12 children born to James and Marie (Roberts) Caughorn. Preceded in death by parents; six sisters, Thelma Covington, Wanda Wompler, Bonnie Heiskell, Gail Abbott, Judy Gattis, Laura Jane Long; five brothers, Leonard Caughorn, Troy Caughorn, Roy Caughorn, Bruce Caughorn and Herman Lucas Caughorn.
Survivors: sons: Michale Dail Caughorn of Knoxville; Dale Davis and wife, Kim of Knoxville; granddaughter, Dalyn Tate and husband, Chandler; step-son, Chris Yarbrough and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Alex, Aaron and Adam Yarbrough. Special friend, Janice Lewelling. Several nieces, nephews and other family members along with a host of friends.
Graveside service and interment 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Seven Islands Church Cemetery, Knoxville with Rev. Norman Smelser officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. The register book may be signed anytime Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
