Dale Edward Collett-age 75 of Sharps Chapel went to be with the Lord, Tuesday morning January 24,2023. He was a Christian and loved the Lord. He was an avid bible studier. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing with his family. He loved gospel music and wrote many songs. Dale was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Earl and Rebecca (Riggs)Collett; brother, Clifford Jeffery Collett.

Survivors: wife of 54 years Jo Ann Collett; children, David Ernest Beckett, Creed Edward Collett and wife Melissa, Jon Paul Collett and companion Esther Edwards; daughter, Suzanne Collett and companion Ron Reno; grandchildren, Brandon Allen McKnight and wife Candice, Aaron Timothy McKnight and wife Shanna, Alia Jade Sutton and husband Jonathan, Creed Collett, Jr. and wife Courtney, Madison Cheree Collett, Dorsie Collett; great-grandchildren, Carter Landon McKnight, Broden Allen McKnight, Miles Roy McKnight, Gideon Braxton Blayze Sutton, Kyrie Triton Andrew Sutton, Lakelyn Renee Collett; sisters, Linda Collett Bierman of Portland, Oregon and Nancy Lousie Collett Null of Portland, Oregon; special nephew, Matthew Collett and wife Amanda, along with a host of other nieces and nephews and many friends.

A military honors service will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville with the Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard presenting the honors.
