Obituary for David Ray Richards Sr.
David “Ray” Richards, Sr.-age 68 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at North Knoxville Medical Center. Ray was born September 5, 1952 in Knoxville, the son of the late Franklin Eugene and Bertha Richards. Also preceded in death by his son, David Ray Richards, Jr. He was employed by Ingles and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors: wife, Lisa (Haynes) Richards; his children, Christopher Lee and Brandy Lee; grandchildren, Tyler, Abbie, Braxton, Caden Jo, Skyler, Arie, Sydney and Brailyn. Brother, Chuck Richards and wife, Nancy. Many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Memorial service 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021, Meridian Baptist Church, 6513 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, Pastor Dana L. Fachman officiating with music by Dennis Johnson. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
