Earl Ray Muncey-age 72 of Maynardville passed away Tuesday morning, March 29, 2022 at Willow Ridge Center. He was a member of Maynardville Church of God. Preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Allie (Tharp) Muncey; brothers, William (Bill) Muncey, Jack Muncey; sisters, Anna Lou McCoy, Rowena Cabbage.

Survivors: wife of 36 years, Wilma (Walton) Muncey; sons, Eddie Ray Muncey and wife, Brittany; Jackie Ray Muncey and wife, Sharon; four grandchildren, Justin Ray Muncey, Jaxen Ray Muncey, McKenzie Rhea Muncey, Easton Ray Muncey. Brothers, Jay Harold Muncey, Paul Don Muncey; sisters, Jessie Faye Mills, Brenda Sue Goins, Annette Cowart. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Eddie Muncey, Rev. Charles McClure officiating with music by Brittany Muncey. Interment 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2022 at Big Barren Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Jackie Muncey, Justin Muncey, Jaxen Muncey, Glen Kitts, Adam Kitts, Ray Cabbage.
