Elby Laverne Stehr-age 82 of Luttrell, formerly of Monroe County, Tennessee passed away suddenly Friday evening, June 21, 2019 at his home. He was born September 18, 1936 in Cordell, Oklahoma. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving two enlistments with the Military Police. He was a retired Fireman with the City of Amarillo Fire Department, Amarillo, Texas.

Military Graveside Rites will be presented by Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard and the Tennessee Army National Guard, 2 P.M. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
