Obituary for Eric Glenn Miniard
Eric Glenn Miniard-age 33 of Washburn passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Even though his failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all who knew him. Eric was a member of Mt Eager Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Geraldine and John Ralph Miniard.
Eric is survived by son, Zakary Miniard, and daughter, Ali Miniard; parents, Richard and Kim Miniard; sister, Jessica Paschall and husband, Royal; grandparents, Howard and Nancy Hopson; nephews, Landon and Rylan along with a plentiful number of cousins. Eric also had an abundance of former co-workers and friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Gary Donehew officiating with music by Rick Collins. Graveside service and burial 2 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022, Needham Cemetery on Tater Valley Rd, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 1 p.m. Thursday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: David Miniard, Jeff Hopson, Landon Hamic, Royal Paschall, Tommy Clay, Travis Hamic. In lieu of flowers, donations for expenses will be accepted at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
