Gladys Mae (Kiser) Cumby-age 88 of Maynardville passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at North Knoxville Medical Center. Preceded in death by husband, Leonard Cumby. She was the last living child of the late Luther and Daisey Kiser. Also preceded in death by brothers, Amos, Lamer, Clyde, Jim and Audrey Kiser; sisters, Stella Archer, Bessie Hoskins, Lassie Welch, Romie Sharp, Dorothy Woods, Lelia Gentry.

Survivors: daughters, Teresa Taylor; Angela Kitts and husband, Bobby; son, Brian Cumby and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Jimmy Samples, Lattrell Samples, April Leach, Megan Cantrell, Heather Crowe, Brian Cumby; great-grandchildren, Dustin Lad, Misty Samples, Rhalyn Kelly, Addison Leach, Alivia Leach. Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 10 am till 12 noon Wednesday, December 30, 2020 with funeral service to follow at 12 pm, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Charles McClure officiating. Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Handy Lee Kiser, Kenneth Kiser, Brian Cumby, Christopher Crowe, Mark Ott, Jimmy Cantrell. Honorary Pallbearer: Glen Woods.
