Obituary for Gracie Jane (Nicley) Bailey

Gracie Jane (Nicley) Bailey-age 92 of Luttrell, born August 31, 1929 passed away Saturday morning, February 5, 2022 at the home of her son in Maynardville. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Carl P. Bailey; son, Leroy Bailey; twin sons, Darrell and Harrell Bailey; parents, Robert and Mae Nicley; sister, Callie Dalton; brothers, Hubert Nicley, Cliff Nicley.

Survivors: children, daughters: Lois and Larry Graves, Lillus and Johnny Mynatt, Brenda and Donald Rose, Patricia Fletcher; sons, Ronnie and Sheila Bailey, Tony and Kathy Bailey, Billy Ray and Betty Bailey, Benny Bailey, Michael and Tracey Bailey. Step-children, Faye and Paul Shelton, Sue and Randy Harrell, Danny and Tonya Bailey, Willard Nicley, James Bailey. 15 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Brothers, Bill Nicley, Earl Nicley; sisters, Juanita Coffman, Lillie Perry, Clara Whitt. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Monday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Ricky Dalton, Rev. David Nicley, Rev. Gene Bailey officiating with music by Ricky Dalton, Jr. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Cabbage Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funera honel by 10 a.m. Tuesday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: John Graves, Jeffrey Bailey, Greg Bailey, Aaron Rose, Gene Bailey, Andy Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers, Nikki Fletcher, Casey Scarbrough. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
