Harrell D. Kidwell-age 73 of Washburn went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his home. He was a member of Mt. Eager Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by father, Sherman H. Kidwell; mother, Clara B. Kidwell; brother, Sherman Henry Kidwell; sisters, Lillie M. Nicley and Infant Mable Kidwell.

Survived by wife of 52 years, Patricia Collins Kidwell; daughters, Patricia M. and Jerry Nicley; Tammy E. and Charles Smith; grandchildren, Jerrica and Ryan Hensley, Lagina and Jeb Moore, J. P. Nicley and Samuel Smith. Sisters, Judy and Willie Nicley, Thelma and Leon Nicley, Louise Bailey. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 to proceed to Haynes Cemetery, Maynardville for a 2 p.m. graveside service and interment, Rev. Gary Donehew officiating with music by Tammy Nicley. Pallbearers: Samuel Smith, J. P. Nicley, Jeff Nicley, Doyle Nicley, Martin Nicley, Bobby Nicley. Honorary Pallbearer: Paul Shelton.
