Obituary for Jack Edward Sexton

Jack Edward Sexton-age 82 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Thursday March 24, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was a member of Hubbs Grove Baptist Church and a member of J.C. Baker Lodge 720 F. & A.M. He was a retired employee of Dempster and self-employed by Sexton Used Cars. Preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Sexton; father, Claude Sexton; Mother, Lucille Sexton; sister, Marie Mynatt.

Survived by son, Bill (Trish) Sexton; daughter, Tina (Jackie) Housewright; grandchildren, Drew (Jessica) Housewright, Bethany (Drew) Winstead, Haven (Austin) Collins; great grandchildren, Lylah, Carolyne, Carson, Lynleigh, Neyland; brother, Jerry Sexton; half sister, Betty Cox. Several nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Cooke- Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville. A masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. by J.C. Baker Lodge #720. Funeral service to follow with Rev. Greg Sharp officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Sunday to go with the procession to Tolliver Cemetery, Maynardville for a 12 noon interment. Pallbearers: Drew Housewright, Earl Cox, Jackie Jenkins, Terry Bailey, Billy Joe Henderson, Eric Russell. Honorary Pallbearers: Drew Winstead, Austin Collins, Jeff Sharp.
