James Michael “Little Ed” Edwards-age 55 of Maynardville passed away Saturday morning, December 31, 2022 at his home. He was a great father and a friend to all. Preceded in death by son, James Adam Edwards; mother, Jewell (Cole) Edwards; brother, John Martin Edwards; grandparents, Woodrow and Hettie Cole.

Survivors: son, Stacy James Edwards; daughter, Angel Cheyenne Edwards, both of Maynardville; sons, Joshua Dakota Edwards, Jessie Lynn Edwards, all of Tazewell; father, John Edwards; sister, Marlene Godfrey and husband, Ronnie; nephew, Derek Williams, all of Maynardville. A host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Rev. Greg Sharp, Rev. Tim Sharp officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery, Tazewell. Family and friends will meet by 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Dustin Turner, Carson Nicley, Justin Hunter, Logan Tharp, Anthony Humphreys, Derek Williams. Honorary Pallbearers: Dakota Edwards, Tony Nix, Jr. and Jessie Edwards.
