Obituary for Jeffery Allen Wallker

Jeffery Allen Walker-age 59 of Sharps Chapel went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home. He passed away with a smile on his face. He was a member and Deacon of Taylor’s Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was an employee of Kenworth of Knoxville, Body Shop Department. Jeff was a very loving husband, father and friend who was dedicated to his church. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ray and Ruth Drummonds; mother, Janice Beason; step-mother, Darlene Walker; mother-in-law, Ruth England; brother-in-law, J. Will “Bub” England.

Survivors: wife of 41 years, Elizebith “Sis” Walker; son, Zachary Walker; special daughter, Ashley Dyke and husband, Jesse; father, Allen Walker, sisters, Cindy Cole and Joe; Sandra Hurley and husband, Patrick; brother, Brian Estes and wife, Jennifer; father-in-law, Cliff England; brothers-in-law, Jerry England and wife, Janice; Bill England and wife, Teresa; special niece and nephew, Amy England and Jessee England. His faithful companions: Bubby “Pooh” and Gracie Mae. Several other loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a very special thank you to Dr. J. M. Robertson and Dr. Lee along with the staff of Suncrest Hospice.

The body will be moved to the church on Saturday where the family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Brian Liford and Rev. John Williams officiating with music by the Taylor’s Grove Church Choir. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the J Will England Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Zachary Walker, Jessee England, Casen England, Daniel Cole, Wayne Beason and the Deacons of Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers, Kenworth Body Shop fellow employees and friends. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
