Jesse Clive “J. C.” Cox-age 75 of Sharps Chapel passed away peacefully Friday, April 3, 2020 at his home in Maynardville. He enjoyed gardening, building furniture and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by son, Anthony Dale Cox; parents, Sillis and Ollie Cox; four brothers, three sisters.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anna Cox; daughter, Norma Caldwell; granddaughters, Stacy Perez, Angie Cooper, Amanda Atkins, Brittney Garrett; grandsons, Josh Harvey, Brandon Muncey and wife, Kristy; great-grandchildren, Juan, Jose, Pedro, Anthony, Mason, Joseph, Alexis, Kaylee, Chloe, Josh and Alyssa, Estrella Esteban; brothers, Howard Cox and wife, Paulette; Steve Cox and wife, Rhonda; sisters, Linda Bowman, Mary Lou Woods, Rachel Duncan; a special niece, Donna Campbell along with several other nieces and nephews.

The body will lie in state for viewing 9 A.M. till 4 P.M. Sunday, April 5, 2020 in the chapel of Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
