Obituary for Joyce Ann Hamic

Joyce Ann Hamic-age 70 of Washburn passed away Monday afternoon, March 22, 2021 at North Knoxville Medical Center. She was a member of Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly. Preceded in death by husband, Randy Hickman; daughter, Kathy Majors; father, Elec Hamic; brother, Buster Hamic.

Survivors: son, Troy Majors and wife, Cristina of Washburn; daughters, Shane Lemons and husband, Dean of Washburn; Roxann Long and husband, Clyde of Union County; eight grandchildren, Dillon Majors; Mitchell Majors and wife, Katrina; Tommy King; Christopher Woods and wife, Katie; Chad Lemons, Jody Lemons; Jessica Coburn and husband, Anthony; Brandon Ward; six great-grandchildren, Mahayla, Logan, Franky, Anastasia, Adryonia and Arabella. Mother, Pearlie Hamic Gourley; brother, Chucky Hamic; sister, Maurine Welch and husband, Paul. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The body will lie in state 12:30 till 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly, Luttrell, Rev. LaBrandon Marie, Rev. Paul Thomas Hughes officiating with music by Mavis Hughes. Interment will follow at Neal Cemetery, Powder Springs. Pallbearers: Grandsons: Chad Lemons, Jody Lemons, Dillon Majors, Mitchell Majors, Christopher Woods, Tommy King. Honorary Pallbearers: Anthony Coburn, Dean Lemons, Troy Majors, Clyde Long, Paul Welch, Chuck Hamic. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
