Kenneth E. “Kenny” Sands passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Andy and Helen Marie Sand; brother-in-law, Danny Davis along with a host of family.

Survived by wife, Darlene Sands; his heartbeat and granddaughter, Anie Margaret Slover; sons, Gabriel Slover and wife, Amanda; Michael Slover; Ray Cooper and wife, Melissa and son, Dakota; daughter, Ashley Tomlinson. Nephew, Robbie Davis; niece, Misty Wilson and children, Skylar, Zane and Ava Jo. Best friends, Leon and Pam Reagan and family. A special thank you to Tennova Hospice for the excellent care they provided along with Terri and Kaylie for their dedication to Kenny and family.

A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Big Ridge State Park, Shelter # 1 in Union County, Rev. Danny Overholt, Rev. Jackie Painter officiating with Gospel Singing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Please feel free to bring a covered dish to share.
