Larry J. Hunter-age 67 of Luttrell went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 22, 2021 at U. T. Medical Center. He was a member of Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly, Luttrell. Larry was a retired employee of Rogers Group Construction. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Minnie Hunter; son, Larry Charles (Chuck) Hunter.

Survivors: wife of 47 years, 7 months, Glenda Sue (Adams) Hunter; granddaughter, Kelly Hunter; step-grandson, Dylan Angeline; brothers, Danny Hunter of Powder Springs; Ricky Hunter of Luttrell; sister, Tammy Wood and husband, Kevin of Luttrell. Step-mother, Lorene Hunter of Knoxville. Like a brother, Eddie Adams of Luttrell. Several nieces, nephews, cousins along with a host of friends and other family members.

Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021, Mountain View Church of God of the Union Assembly, Rev. LeBrandon Marie, Rev. Lewis Beeler officiating with music by Jessica Lamb and Kevin Merritt. Interment will follow at Dyer Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ricky Merritt, Johnny Merritt, Eddie Adams, Jr., Jamie Adams, Jason Adams, Josh Wood. Honorary Pallbearers: Lloyd Railey, A. J. Lohrber, Jeremy Merritt, Kevin Merritt, Taylor Kiser, Doug Williams. Family and friends may meet at the funeral home by 1 p.m. Sunday to proceed to the church.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
