Obituary for Lonnie Ray Collins

Lonnie Ray “ToeJoe” Collins age 67 of Washburn passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at U. T. Medical Center. He was a member of Blaine’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver for C & W Trailers. He is proceeded in death by parents, Herbert and Zola Collins; son, William “Leon” Collins; several brothers and sisters.

Survivors: wife, Shirley Collins of Washburn, son, Wayne (Loretta) Williams of Washburn; granddaughters, Brianna (Micheal) Hickman of Andersonville, Leah Collins and her mother, Kelli Lane, both of Blaine, Great Granddaughter, McKinley Hickman of Andersonville, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Danny Collins, Rev. Greg Hurst officiating with music by Blaine’s Chapel Church Singers. Interment to follow at Freewill Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers: Gary Collins, Ron Collins, Billy Glenn, Daniel Hobby, Josh Hobby, Brian Hickman.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2021 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
