Obituary for Louise Needham Phipps
Louise Needham Phipps-age 90 of Powder Springs passed away peacefully Monday morning, May 9, 2022 at the home of her son. She was a member of Johnson’s Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Martha Needham; husband, Charles Phipps; son, Larry Phipps.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Cindie Phipps; daughter-in-law, Judy Phipps; grandsons, John Phipps and wife, Jada; Robert and Jason Smith; great-grandsons, Ryker Phipps, Graem Merritt. Special cousin, Connie Phipps. The family would like to express a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice for their excellent care, Jamie, Chaplain James and Diane.
The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Greg Hurst officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Doyle Wayne Needham Cemetery, Powder Springs. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
