Obituary for Luddie Blevins
Luddie Blevins-age 77 of Maynardville was born March 26, 1945 in Harlan, Kentucky passed away suddenly Friday morning, June 17, 2022 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Baxter and Betty (Napier) Blevins. Also preceded in death by brother, Woodrow, William, Green, George and Carter Blevins; sisters, Nancy Burkhart, Georgia Blevins, Rellab Blevins; nephew, Jason Blevins; niece, Carla Blevins.
Survivors: sisters, Evelyn Kirkland of Maynardville with whom she made her home; Bernetta Carroll of Luttrell; Louise Lewis of Harlan, Kentucky; nephews, Josh Blevins and Casey Blevins. Several other nieces, nephews and other family members along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2022 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. James Whitson officiating with music by Union Church Singers.
Family and friends will meet at Burkhart Family Cemetery, Maynardville at 9:45 a.m. Monday for a 10 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers: Darrell Weaver, Harold Weaver, Junior Weaver, Michael Weaver, Jacob Weaver, Josh Blevins, Eddie Weaver. Honorary Pallbearer: Charlie Weaver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the funeral home for expenses. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
