Lula B. (Cook) Melton-age 81 of Oak Ridge, formerly of Knoxville passed away Sunday morning, December 11, 2022 at her home. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Clinton and retired as a L.P.N. She was the daughter of the late Floyd O. and Minnie (Miller) Cook; also preceded in death by sister, Doby Jean Cook.

Survivors: husband, James C. Melton, Sr.; son, James Carl Melton, Jr. and wife, Wendy June Melton; grandson, Cory Jacob Melton; granddaughter, Brittany Jordan Melton; brother, Ronald Scott Cook; sister, Barbara Ellen McNeely. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
