Marvin Dean Atkins-age 60 of Luttrell passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and was of the Baptist Faith. Graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1981.

Preceded in death by wife, Deborah Kay (Wilkerson) Atkins; parents, Gerald and Nola Elizabeth (Bucker) Atkins; brother, Ralph Douglas Atkins.

Survivors: son, Joshua Atkins of Luttrell; brothers, Gregory Stacy Atkins and wife Angela of Mascot, Timothy Gerald Atkins and wife Barbara of Luttrell: 5 nieces; 2 nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 11 AM-1 PM Saturday, April 29, 2023, with funeral to follow at 1 PM Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Ray Headrick and Rev. Leonard Goin officiating. Music by Matthew Acuff. Interment will follow at Sharp Cemetery, Hwy 370 in Luttrell. Pallbearers: Cody Hensley, Matthew Acuff, Allen Padgett, Alex Padgett, Randall Surrett, Arlos Masingo. Honorary Pallbearer, Tim Atkins. The family will meet at Warwick Chapel Church Fellowship Hall for lunch following the burial. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
