Maxine Fox-age 72 of Washburn, born March 30, 1947, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, December 22, 2019 at her home. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Washburn. Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ina Lay; brother, Bennie Lay.

Survivors: husband, Larry Fox; son, Rev. Christopher Fox and wife, Samantha, two-grandchildren, Madison and Mason Fox all of Washburn; sister, Irene Goin and husband, Rev. Leonard Goin of Luttrell; brother, Ernie Lay of Luttrell; sister-in-law, Brenda Lay of Maryville. Several nieces, nephews along with a host friends.

The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Thursday, December 26, 2019 with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. Thursday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Kevin Sexton, Rev. Micky Long officiating with music by The Trent Family. Interment 10 A.M. Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Fox Cemetery, Washburn. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9 A.M. Friday to go in the procession. Pallbearers: Dan Collins, Eddie Noe, Tim McGinnis, Greg Hurst, Jason Collins, Lynn Wood.
