Obituary for Michael "Mike" Wayne Snelson
Michael Wayne “Mike” Snelson-age 59 of Maynardville passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home. Mike loved fishing, camping and the lake life. Mike was preceded in death by mother, Mary Ruth Snelson; brothers, Rick and Tommy Snelson.
Survived by life partner, Tammy Bowling; son, Aaron Snelson; step-children, Donald and John Mashburn, Richard (Taylor), Brian, Dewayne, Brad, Darius, Charlene and Bobby. Grandchildren, Isaac, Zavier, Daveah, Ashton, Andon, Royce, Riggs; one great-grandchild, Carmon; special friend, Sunday. Father, Steve Snelson; sisters, Angie Chisum (Terry); Hope Snelson, Morgan Snelson; brothers, Jacob, Daniel and Matthew Snelson. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. David McGinnis officiating with music by The McGinnis Family. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
