Michael David Russell-age 64 of Luttrell passed away Wednesday morning, February 22,2023 at his home. He was a member of New Christian Rest Missionary Baptist. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a retired heavy equipment operator in Excavation. In his spare-time he enjoyed fishing with his grandkids and being on the lake.

Preceded in death by mother, Joyce Ann Russell; sister, Tracy Russell; brother, James Russell.

Survivors: daughters, Chelsea Wyrick and husband Tim of Luttrell; grandchildren, Carter Wyrick and Presley Wyrick; father, David D. Russell of Knoxville; brother, Tony Russell of Knoxville; sister, Kimberly Russell of Knoxville.; former wife, Christa Russell of Maryville along with several nieces and nephews. His special dog, Jake.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, February 25,2023 with funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Tony Russell officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday, Russell Family Cemetery, Luttrell. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 1p.m. Sunday to go with the funeral procession. Pallbearers: Tim Wyrick, Carter Wyrick, Greg Bailey, Shawn Flanders, Seth Flanders and Zachary Wilson. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
