Panzie Carnelia Smallwood Jones-age 38 of Sharps Chapel passed away suddenly Thursday morning, January 30, 2020. She attended Beulah Baptist Church, Raccoon Valley Road. Preceded in death by father, Henry “Buddy” Smallwood; sisters, Dorothy Judd and Rosa Mae Gray.

Survivors: sons, Vernon Michael Weaver and Joseph Nolan Jones; mother, Margaret Smallwood, New Tazewell; brothers, William Henry Smallwood, Cookeville; Henry Smallwood, II and wife, Katherine of Sharps Chapel; sisters, Aileen Southern and husband, Delbert; Linda Sue Sherfield, all of Cookeville; Shirley Ann Cather and husband, Paul of Oklahoma; Lorraine Young and husband, Terry, Maynardville; Brenda Brewer and husband, Terry; Anna Stiner, all of Sharps Chapel. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services 2 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2020, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Virgil Masingo officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor’s Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Bradley Rutherford, Jonathan Sparks, Tyler Blair, Logan Smith, Roy Stiner, Jason Stiner. Honorary Pallbearers: Henry Smallwood, II and Terry Brewer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be accepted at the funeral home for expenses.

The family will receive friends 6-9 P.M. Thursday, February 6, 2020, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
