Paris (Pat) Muncey-age 86 of Maynardville went to be with his Heavenly Father Sunday morning, January 15, 2023 at his home in the presence of his loving family. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church where his was saved as a young boy. Pat was a coon hunter and he loved farming. His greatest joy was he time he spent with his great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Mable (Nicely) Muncey; sons, Paris (Eddie) Muncey; Terry Muncey and wife, Lisa. Granddaughters, Amanda (Clint) Walker and Haley “Boo” (Joshua) Graves; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Caden Walker, Silas, Malachi and Noa Graves; sisters, Nancy Bailey and Patsy Buckner.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Richard Nicley officiating with music by Linda Nicley. Interment 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Muncey Family Cemetery near the family home. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 12 p.m. Wednesday to go with the procession.
