CAPPS, PATSY J. Age 73 of Washburn, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Central View American Christian Church for 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents: Cecil and Juanita Frye; Brother: Eddie Frye. Survived by her loving husband: Dale Capps; Sons: Roger (Sherl) Capps, Tim (Patty) Capps; Daughter: Cynthia (Tim) Tipton. Grandchildren: Jacob (Ashley) Capps; Logan (Kalee) Capps; Madison Tipton; A.J. (Valerie) Bales; Chelsey Capps. Great-Grandchildren: Raylan Capps, Leah Bales, Tucker Capps, Ivy Capps. Sister-in-law: Tena Frye; Brothers: Howard (Diane) Frye, Paul (Jann) Frye, Charles (Wanda) Frye, Steve (Annette) Frye. Host of nephew and nieces and many friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville. Graveside Service 11 a.m. Sunday, February 7, 2021, Clapp Cemetery, Washburn, Rev. Jerry Epperson officiating with singers: Jerry, Carolyn, Mark, Devin and Drew Epperson. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. to go in the funeral procession.
