Paul Lester Lampkin, Sr., age 61 of Maynardville completed his race of life on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was a hardworking man that loved his children, his grandchildren, his friends, and everything to do with his S-10’s. He will forever be remembered by his children: Paul Jr. and Kaitlyn, Scott and Cassandra, April Catlaw, Mandy and Chris Calderwood, Tosha and Odell Hall, Kayla and Randy Bumgardner; his grandchildren: Wyatt Michael-Paul, Whitleigh, Everlee, Dillon Chevy-Lee, Gracie, Abi, Alex, Ella, Emmie, Kenneth, Kaden, Kiley, Josh, Caleb, Haley, Ella, Kelsey, and Dalton; his siblings: Bo, Debbie, and Buddy; and a host of family and friends. He is now racing in Heaven on that big racetrack in the sky with his parents: Bud and Ethel; sister: Dodie; friends: Cliff Hensley and Michael Brantley.

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Timothy 2; 6-7.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Scott Lampkin, Rev. Derrick Mitchell officiating with music by Derrick Mitchell and Family; Rebecca and Daniel Corum. Interment 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 11:15 a.m. Wednesday to go with the funeral procession.
